Tea World became a reality in 2008, initially with the opening of our Como store, which was followed, after an essential consolidation phase, by the online shop you are currently visiting.

Thanks to the care with which the numerous products in our catalog are selected and a store layout capable of making the shopping experience unique, Tea World quickly won over the hearts of an increasingly large and demanding community of tea and infusion enthusiasts.

Tea Selection

Over the years, Tea World has invested a great deal of energy in selecting the best tea producers, often by traveling to the regions of origin.

Avoiding intermediaries as much as possible allows us to offer you the best product at the most affordable price.

Tea Preservation

Another fundamental aspect concerns the preservation of tea, which is why Tea World pays great attention to it.

After various tests, we concluded that, in order not to render the efforts made during the product selection phase in vain, it was essential to package the tea as soon as it is received in heat-sealed food-grade bags that are easy to reseal thanks to a practical zip.

Using weighing machines, the freshly received product is loaded into a stainless steel hopper and then placed into food-grade bags.

The entire process takes place as quickly as possible and without any manual handling on our part, except for necessary quality controls.

The Customer is the protagonist

To explain this better, we will take inspiration from one of our most successful slogans, which reads:
"How are we sure that you will like our teas? Simple. You are the ones who select them!"

We never rest on our laurels, and at least twice a year, we love to involve you in the selection of new scented blends.

Our commitment to a greener Planet

At Tea World, we take environmental protection seriously.

Tea is a gift from nature, and we believe it is our duty to give back to it with respect. For years, we have chosen to reduce our environmental impact in every aspect of our business, from our laboratory to our shop, and even in the shipping of your orders.

Here is what we are doing concretely:

Clean energy for our laboratory and warehouse
Since 2023, our laboratory/warehouse has been equipped with a 6.5 kW photovoltaic system that produces renewable energy to cover a large part of our needs. This allows us to drastically reduce CO₂ emissions.
Low-impact lighting
Our store has been lit with LED lights since 2008 (yes, we were early adopters!), and even our workshop/warehouse uses exclusively high-efficiency LED lighting. Lower consumption, same (or better) light quality.
Electric mobility
Our company vehicle is 100% electric: city deliveries, supply runs, and transport between our shop and workshop are all done with zero local emissions.
Responsible packaging
To protect your teas, we carefully choose:
- Recyclable plastic doypacks for loose-leaf products
- Paper bags
  Materials designed to be easily recycled in waste sorting, minimizing non-recoverable waste.

These are not passing trends: it is a path we have embarked upon with conviction and that we continue to improve day by day.
